Lazio have set their sights on Leeds United winger Wilfried Gnonto but are facing competition from Everton and Roma.
The 19-year-old Italian winger showed a number of positives during his debut season with the Whites but was unable to stop their relegation from the Premier League last season, leaving him stuck in the English second tier.
Gnonto tried to push through a move to the interested Everton but Leeds refused to let him leave and briefly froze him out of the squad before reintegrating him into the setup.
As reported by La Repubblica (via LazioNews24), Lazio are keeping a close eye on Gnonto and are interested in making a move for him in the coming months, believing the 19-year-old could be the perfect option for the right wing.
Roma are also keen but both Italian sides may struggle to fight the interested Everton, who haven’t forgotten about the winger after their failed attempt in the summer.
