Lazio president Claudio Lotito has decided to increase his offer to Felipe Anderson as negotiations over a new contract continue.
The 30-year-old Brazilian winger has been a key figure for Maurizio Sarri in his second spell in the Italian capital, having returned from West Ham in the summer of 2021.
Felipe Anderson has entered the last year of his contract with Lazio and the club have been in constant contact with his entourage over the last few months, keen to finalise a new deal.
As reported by Corriere dello Sport (via LazioNews24), Lazio have now decided to offer Felipe Anderson a contract worth €3 million net per season plus add-ons, close to the winger’s €3.5 million salary request.
The Biancocelesti originally offered €2.5 million net per season before increasing that to €2.8 million, and now they’ve decided to further raise their proposal.
The hope is to reach a total agreement in the coming weeks, allowing things to be fully finalised before the January transfer window opens.
