Clubs in Saudi Arabia are interested in hiring Maurizio Sarri but the Lazio coach is not tempted by the idea.
The 64-year-old Italian coach has entered his third year in charge of the Biancocelesti following his arrival in the summer of 2021, replacing long-term coach Simone Inzaghi.
Sarri has started to build an exciting project at Lazio and guided them to a second-place finish in Serie A last season, taking the team back to the Champions League. Whilst things have been tough this term, the Biancocelesti are still on track to qualify for the Round of 16 in Europe.
As reported by Il Messaggero (via LazioNews24), unnamed Saudi clubs want to hire Sarri to continue bolstering the Saudi Pro League, but the Lazio coach has no interest in making the move.
Whilst a hefty cheque could change things, Sarri would like to stay with the Biancocelesti until the end of his coaching career. His current contract expires in June 2025.
