An unnamed Saudi Arabian club are reportedly sounding out a possible January move for Lazio captain Ciro Immobile.

The 33-year-old striker was heavily linked with a move to Saudi Arabia in the summer, with both Al-Shabaab and Al-Wedha drawing up lucrative contracts worth around €35m total for two years. After many rumours, he eventually decided to reject the proposals and remained in the Italian capital.

Things have not been easy for Immobile this season. He has only netted four goals in 942 minutes of action across 15 games, hardly resembling the striker who has won four Capocannoniere titles in the past. Some fans have even called for greater usage of backup option Valentin Castellanos.

As reported by Saudi journalist Turki Alghamdi, an unnamed Saudi club are currently exploring a move for Immobile ahead of the January transfer window, something that may prove tempting to the striker after his tough start to the season with Lazio.

He admitted in a recent interview that he was tempted by the Saudi offers in the summer but rejected them for the Champions League and the Italy national team.
