Lazio Consider Entering Race for Lecce Talent Dorgu

Lazio have been impressed by Lecce left back Patrick Dorgu and are thinking about competing for his signature next summer.

The Biancocelesti are looking around for options to strengthen their left back role next summer, wanting a long-term replacement for Elseid Hysaj. Adam Marusic is also able to play in the role, but usually fairs better on the right side of defence.

Lazio brought back Luca Pellegrini from Juventus in the summer, picking him up on a two-year loan deal with a conditional obligation to buy clause attached, but he’s struggled for consistent minutes this season.

As reported by La Lazio Siamo Noi, Lazio have been keeping a close eye on Dorgu, who broke into the Lecce first team this season. The Danish teenager was signed by the Puglian outfit from Nordsjaelland last year and has quickly started to impress in Serie A.

Lecce value the 19-year-old at around €10-15m and a number of clubs across Europe, as well as Juventus and Milan, have started following his progress in south Italy.
