Lazio winger Felipe Anderson has reportedly agreed to sign his new contract and is set to put pen to paper next week.

The 30-year-old’s current deal expires at the end of this season and the club have been in talks with his sister-agent Juliana Gomes in recent weeks trying to iron out a new contract. Negotiations have been slow but progress has slowly been made as president Claudio Lotito increased his offers.

Felipe Anderson agreed to take a pay cut when he returned to Lazio from West Ham in the summer of 2021 and was keen to see a significant raise in his new deal, which Lotito finally accepted this month, offering him a five-year deal worth around €3 million net per season plus €500,000 in add-ons.

As reported by Il Messaggero (via La Lazio Siamo Noi), Felipe Anderson contacted Lazio’s management this week to confirm that he’s ready to sign his new contract, extending his stay at the club to June 2028.

The decisive meeting is expected to take place next week and an official announcement is set to arrive soon after.

  1. He does deserve more but is such a humble guy and loves our club, the city and it’s people that he accepted.

My respect grew even more and say what you want, on matchdays he is our biggest workhorse! There is no one playing more and contributing offensively & defensively as much as him since SMS and make no mistake, his got that Brazilian flair! He is a special lad 🤍💙🦅

    1. Well, Goundozi could compete with him but it’s early to say. Rovella and Kamada too and Luis recently growed to do everything well when he is mentally there (very sensitive person), for some reason though Pipe basically is never out of our 1st 11.

Sarri must improve his way of motivating all, because I know he considers it’s not his job to do that but he can imprint the most influence onto them. Look at De Zerbi, man is taking improving every single player to another level

C’mon boys let’s bring the 3 points from Salerno 🤍💙
