Lazio are starting to recover their injured players, with Nicolo Casale and Mattia Zaccagni both ready to return to action.

Casale has not featured for the Biancocelesti since their 3-1 loss to Feyenoord on 25th October, missing the last five consecutive league games with an adductor injury.

Things have been less serious for Zaccagni, who suffered a hip injury in the 62nd minute of the 2-1 loss to Salernitana on 25th November, forcing him to miss the win over Cagliari.

Il Messaggero (via LazioNews24) highlights how Casale and Zaccagni are ready to return to the Lazio squad, both returning to squad training in the session on Monday. The duo are aiming to join their teammates for the clash with Hellas Verona on the weekend.

No injuries for Luis Alberto, who was pulled off in the 56th minute of the win over Cagliari, but he is still suffering from inflammation in his right thigh. He will be rested for the cup match with Genoa this evening.

Alessio Romagnoli is still recovering from a calf injury suffered last month and will not join the squad for the Verona clash, needing more time to recover.
