Lazio Identify Pumas’ Huerta as Possible Felipe Anderson Replacement

Lazio are looking around for possible replacements for Felipe Anderson and have set their sights on Pumas’ Cesar Huerta.

The 30-year-old Biancocelesti winger has entered the last six months of his contract in the Italian capital and a departure is starting to look increasingly likely as negotiations have stalled between player and club.

A number of clubs are keen to pick up Felipe Anderson in the coming months, including Al-Shabab, Aston Villa and Juventus, pushing Lazio to start looking around for possible replacements for the winger.

As reported by Mexican outlet El Futbolero (via La Lazio Siamo Noi), Lazio have started closely following Pumas forward Huerta, who has shined in Liga MX this term, scoring eight goals and providing one assist across 15 matches.

The 23-year-old Mexican winger only has 18 months left on his contract with Pumas and could leave in the summer,  having an estimated market value of around €5-7 million.
