Lazio Reject Saudi Offer for Felipe Anderson as Aston Villa Emerge

Lazio have turned down an offer from Al-Shabab for Felipe Anderson and Aston Villa have emerged to register their interest.

The 30-year-old Brazilian winger has entered the last six months of his contract in the Italian capital and a renewal is starting to look increasingly unlikely, with the player unconvinced about the four-year offer worth circa €3.5 million net per season.

Lazio are not keen to lose Felipe Anderson on a free transfer in the summer, with Juventus keen to snap up the winger, so a sale in the January transfer window could occur in order to allow the club to cash in.

As reported by various outlets (via La Lazio Siamo Noi), Lazio have rejected a €15 million offer from Al-Shabab for Felipe Anderson, but a proposal of around €20 million could be enough to convince the club to let him leave.

Aston Villa are also interested in picking up the 30-year-old forward and Juventus are still waiting to sign him on a free transfer.
