Lazio are keeping a close eye on Fiorentina winger Johnathan Ikone as they look for options to bolster the frontline.
The Biancocelesti have struggled for goals over the last few months and things haven’t improved despite their uptick in form, with the team netting just 11 goals in the last 10 games across all competitions.
Lazio are also in a difficult position as both Pedro and Felipe Anderson have contracts expiring in the summer, two players who feature regularly under Maurizio Sarri. As such, the club are now looking around for reinforcements.
As reported by La Repubblica (via La Lazio Siamo Noi), Ikone is open to leaving Fiorentina after a fairly difficult two-year spell in Florence and Lazio are closely monitoring the situation, considering making a move for the winger.
The 25-year-old Frenchman has scored nine goals and provided 11 assists in 93 appearances across all competitions for the Viola. He could leave Florence on loan this month, as the club are working on picking up Club America’s Brian Rodriguez.
He ain’t much better then Sana Fernandes..I’d rather see the kid.
