Lazio & Fiorentina Ask After Lecce Captain Strefezza

Lazio and Fiorentina have both reportedly approached Lecce to ask about a possible deal for Gabriel Strefezza.

The Biancocelesti still haven’t brought in any reinforcements over three weeks into the January transfer window, leaving Maurizio Sarri and some fans concerned ahead of the second half of the season.

Lazio have been linked with a long list of players in recent days, including Bryan Gil, Jonathan Ikone, Wilfried Gnonto, Rafa Silva, Albert Gudmundsson and Anwar El Ghazi. Time is starting to run out if the club want to add a player or two to Sarri’s squad.

As reported by Nicolò Schira, Lazio and Fiorentina have both contacted Lecce to start sounding out a January move for Strefezza, who has asked to leave the Puglian outfit this month.

The 26-year-old Brazilian winger, who can play on both sides of the pitch, has scored 25 goals and provided 10 assists in 93 appearances for Lecce since his arrival in the summer of 2021.
