Lazio coach Maurizio Sarri would like the club to make a move for Tottenham winger Bryan Gil this month.
The Italian coach has struggled to find solutions for the Biancocelesti’s lack of goals over the last few months and has asked for a new forward to arrive to help bolster his frontline. Wingers Pedro and Felipe Anderson both have contracts expiring in the summer, pushing the club to look for reinforcements.
Lazio have started following Fiorentina’s Jonathan Ikone and are also keeping an eye on a number of other targets. They’ve kept quiet in the January transfer window so far, not bringing in any new players over the last three weeks.
As reported by Corriere dello Sport (via TMW), Lazio are considering making a move for Tottenham’s Bryan Gil in the coming days after Sarri again highlighted the Spaniard as a strong option to strengthen the squad.
Spurs would be open to letting the 22-year-old leave on loan this month. He has hardly featured in North London this season, seeing just 217 minutes of action across 10 games.
