Lazio managed to complete the loan exit of Dimitrije Kamenovic to Swiss side Yverdon Sport this week.
The 23-year-old Serbian left back is one of former sporting directors Igli Tare’s more puzzling signings in his final few years at the Biancocelesti, paying €3m to Cukaricki for an untested defender who took up a non-EU player slot in the squad.
Kamenovic has never managed to convince Maurizio Sarri and has barely featured for Lazio over the last three years, spending time on loan with Sparta Prague, where he failed to particularly stand out.
As confirmed this week, Kamenovic has now left Lazio to join Yverdon Sport on a six-month loan deal, giving him the chance to try and relaunch his career in Switzerland.
The 23-year-old Serbian full back only ever made one competitive appearance for Lazio, playing in the second half of the 3-3 draw with Hellas Verona in March 2022. He was barely included in any matchday squads this term.
