Lazio president Claudio Lotito has decided to set up a dossier detailing all the various officiating mistakes suffered by the team following Marco Di Bello’s disaster in the loss to Milan.
The 42-year-old Italian referee, who was already banned for a month earlier this season following a shockingly poor outing in a clash between Juventus and Bologna, will be suspended for another month by the Italian Referees’ Association following the recent chaos at the Stadio Olimpico.
Di Bello lost control of the match between Lazio and Milan, wildly blowing his whistle and brandishing cards unnecessarily. He ultimately sent off three Biancocelesti players – Luca Pellegrini, Adam Marusic and Mateo Guendouzi.
As reported by Tuttosport (via La Lazio Siamo Noi), Lazio president Lotito is furious with the seemingly endless officiating mistakes this season, so has instructed the club to draw up a dossier compiling all the various errors that went against the Roman club this season.
There are various examples, like Guendouzi’s disallowed goal against Napoli, Nicolo Casale’s chalked off goal against Hellas Verona and the penalty missed in the Derby della Capitale after a foul by Edoardo Bove on Guendouzi.
