Maurizio Sarri’s side have the chance to pull off the impossible in Bavaria after securing a 1-0 lead in the first leg, whilst Thomas Tuchel’s squad will be desperate to turn things around as their Bundesliga campaign begins to fall flat.

Bayern Munich have to contend with a number of injuries heading into the match with Lazio, having to do without Daniel Peretz, Tarek Buchmann, Noussair Mazraoui, Sacha Boey, Bouna Sarr and Kingsley Coman.

Dayot Upamecano is unavailable through suspension for the Bavarian giants after picking up a red card in the 67th minute of the first leg in Rome last month.

Lazio are unable to count on Patric, who is suffering from an ankle injury, and Nicolo Rovella, who is dealing with inflammation of his pubic bone, reducing Sarri’s options a little. The rest of the squad is fully fit and available for the match.

Captain Ciro Immobile is expected to lead the line up front, with Valentin Castellanos available on the bench as a back-up option.
