Galatasaray are planning to sell Nicolo Zaniolo once he returns from Aston Villa and Lazio are reportedly considering making a move for the former Roma man.
The 24-year-old Italian forward has failed to impress during his time in the Premier League this season, managing just two goals and no assists in 985 minutes of action across 30 games. Although a buy option was attached to his loan move, he is not expected to stay with the Villans.
Zaniolo will return to Galatasaray in the summer, where he is contracted to June 2027, but he is keen to make a return to Serie A after a tough time away, failing to find his footing following his forced move from Roma in January of last year.
Calciomercato.com details how Galatasaray are expecting offers of around €20 million for Zaniolo in the summer, with a number of Italian clubs closely following the situation ahead of the transfer window.
Juventus, Milan, Lazio and Fiorentina are all interested in picking up the 24-year-old, who could likely be signed on a loan deal with a buy option or obligation to buy clause attached.
