Lazio coach Igor Tudor now needs to decide whether to start Ciro Immobile or Valentin Castellanos against Juventus.
The Croatian coach is gearing up for his first game in charge of the Biancocelesti following his arrival earlier this month, having agreed to a one-year contract lasting to June 2025 with an option for a second. He’s already started working closely with the squad in Formello.
Tudor has a number of issues to resolve in his first two months in charge of Lazio, needing to make a number of quick evaluations about his squad ahead of the summer transfer window, needing to decide which players he trusts and which he thinks should be replaced.
Corriere dello Sport (via LazioNews24) details how Tudor is debating whether to start Immobile or Castellanos against Juventus on March 30th, which the current favourite appearing to be the Italian for the time being.
Should Immobile start against the Bianconeri in the league, Tudor would look to make it up to Castellanos by starting him in the first leg of the Coppa Italia semi-final against the Old Lady next month.
