Lazio are preparing to revolutionise the squad in the summer and are keen to fight with Juventus and Atalanta for Bologna star Lewis Ferguson.

The 24-year-old Scottish midfielder has been one of the stars of the show in Thiago Motta’s Rossoblu squad this term, attracting the attention of clubs across Europe after scoring six goals and providing four assists in 28 Serie A appearances, playing a key role in the team’s flight to fourth in the table.

With Igor Tudor at the helm, Lazio have entered a new era and president Claudio Lotito is planning to shake up the squad in the summer in order to start a new project under the Croatian coach, who is gearing up for his first game in charge against Juventus on Saturday.

As reported by La Lazio Siamo Noi, Lazio are thinking about entering the race with Atalanta and Juventus for Ferguson, who seems destined to make the jump to a top club in the summer after his impressive growth at Bologna.

The 24-year-old won’t come cheap, however, and his lengthy contract means he’s expected to cost over €30-35m in the summer transfer market.
