Referee Marco Guida will try to control proceedings in the upcoming Derby della Capitale between Roma and Lazio.
The Biancocelesti haven’t lost a derby to their rivals in over two years but are in an uncertain spot heading into the upcoming clash, still in the starting stages of the Igor Tudor project. A late win over Juventus was a good sign but their Coppa Italia defeat in the rematch proved more concerning.
Roma, on the other hand, have been one of the most in-form teams in Serie A since the appointment of Daniele De Rossi back in January. He was initially supposed to be a short-term replacement for Jose Mourinho but has now done enough to earn a new long-term contract, setting up a new era of derbies.
