Enzo Raiola, the Agent of Lazio centre-back Alessio Romagnoli, responded to the rumours regarding a possible move away in the Summer.
The 29-year-old Italian defender has been a key player for the Biancocelesti since his arrival on a free transfer back in 2022 and has continued to feature regularly under new coach Igor Tudor, showing a number of positives in a three-man defence.
Despite this, Romagnoli has continued to be linked with a possible move away from Lazio in the Summer, causing some concern among supporters. The club are expected to carry out sweeping changes in the transfer market following the arrival of Tudor.
Speaking to Corriere dello Sport (via La Lazio Siamo Noi), Raiola responded to the rumours regarding a possible Lazio exit for Romagnoli in the Summer.
The rumours of an imminent separation or break-up with Lazio don’t exist, as well as those who want Alessio to be dissatisfied with the change of coach. I exclude such scenarios.
The Agent was asked how his client reacted to Maurizio Sarri’s decision to leave and the alleged tensions with Claudio Lotito regarding the training camp.
A small parenthesis, the training camp was discussed, the player has already clarified the fact. It had only been a meeting between the president and the player, it was over there. No rebellion on Alessio’s part.
