Torino are reportedly interested in making a summer move for long-term Lazio midfielder Danilo Cataldi.
The 29-year-old Italian midfielder, who is a product of the Biancocelesti’s youth system, has continued to struggle for regular playing time in the Italian capital this term, only making 15 starts across his 27 Serie A appearances.
Cataldi has never managed to carve out a regular starting spot in the Lazio squad and this doesn’t look set to change under Igor Tudor. This campaign, the Italian midfielder has seen around 1700 minutes of action across 36 total games, scoring one goal in that time.
As reported by Il Messaggero (via LazioNews24), Cataldi has been offered to Torino and could end up making the jump from Lazio this summer, with the Granata interested in finding a deal for the 29-year-old.
The Piedmont side have allegedly prepared a two-year contract for the midfielder, worth around €1.5 million net per season plus add-ons. He has three years left on his deal in the Italian capital.
