Lazio Agree Personal Terms With Hellas Verona Left Back

Lazio have reportedly reached an agreement in principle with Hellas Verona left back Juan Cabal ahead of a potential transfer.

The Biancocelesti are working to bolster Marco Baron’s squad in the Italian capital and have identified a new left back as one of their priorities, needing a more reliable option amidst doubts surrounding Elseid Hysaj and Luca Pellegrini.

Lazio have been in close contact with Hellas Verona for a number of works now and are close to finalising a deal worth around €20 million plus add-ons for Cabal, who has three years left on his contract in Veneto.

As reported by Nicolo Schira, Lazio have agreed to the terms of a contract with Cabal, who is now only a step away from completing his transfer from Hellas Verona, allowing the club to focus on other transfer market priorities.

This season, the 23-year-old Colombian left back saw 1503 minutes of action across 22 Serie A appearances for the Gialloblu.

  1. Is this guy any good? All I can see when I google is 0 goals and 0 assists and I know it’s not exactly proof but his FIFA stats are average at best. Are we spending £20m on him alone or is for Noslin as well? Once again, I’ll say it why is no manager looking at our youth team?? Lolito goes on about our facilities but it’s all for nought if it doesn’t deliver

  2. Haven’t seen him play, but he can’t be worse than what we have right now. He’s young with a lot of potential.

  3. Each year we are buying a full back, no matter what. Remember Pellegrinini, Kamenovic, Hysaj, Fares, Jony, Durmisi… Such a waste of time and money.
