Lazio seemed to be on the cusp of finalising a deal with Hatayspor for Fisayo Dele-Bashiru until everything fell quiet. What happened?
The Biancocelesti quickly identified the 23-year-old Nigerian midfielder, who can either play as a playmaker or in a deeper role, as an interesting low-cost option to bolster Marco Baroni’s squad this summer and soon opened talks with the Turkish club.
Lazio seemed to be on track to closing out a deal for Dele-Bashiru, willing to sign him on a €2 million loan deal with a €4 million obligation to buy clause attached, and some reports suggested that a total agreement was only a step away.
As reported by Corriere dello Sport (via LazioNews24), Lazio’s deal with Hatayspor for Dele-Bashiru is on stand-by as personal terms still haven’t been fully agreed yet, with a distance between the club’s offer and the player’s request.
For now, no significant progress has been made and there’s a chance that a transfer may not be completed after all.
Fabiani and Lotito is also in for Cambiaghi, so I think delay is related for this. One or another.. We’ll see..
