Official: Lazio Sign Hellas Verona Attacker Tijjani Noslin

Lazio have announced the signing of Hellas Verona’s versatile striker Tijjani Noslin through an official note posted on the club’s website.

The 24-year-old has been plying his trade in Serie A since making the move from Fortuna Sittard to Verona in January. The attacker made an immediate splash in Italian football, rapidly cementing himself as the Gialloblu’s main talisman, contributing with five goals and four assists which proved vital for the club’s survival.

The Dutchman emerged as a primary transfer target for Lazio following the appointment of Marco Baroni as head coach last month. The 60-year-old has been eager to reunite with his Verona pupil in the Italian capital and has now been granted his wish.

Noslin has now officially joined the Biancocelesti and should be an important addition to the attacking department thanks to his versatility and knack for goals. The Amsterdam native is originally a winger, but served as a centre-forward under Baroni during their time together at Verona.

Lazio have yet to reveal the details of the operation, but previous reports suggested that the move will cost Lazio €15 million and that the player will sign a five-year contract worth around €1 million net per season plus add-ons.
