Lazio have identified Virtus Francavilla striker Gabriele Artistico as an intriguing talent and will soon look to complete a deal.

The Biancocelesti have already started to make moves in the summer transfer window, officially completing deals for Salernitana’s Loum Tchaouna and Hellas Verona’s Tijjani Noslin, adding the first reinforcements to Marco Baroni’s squad.

Lazio are expected to pick up a few more players in the coming months, including a midfielder and a left-back, with Hellas Verona’s Juan Cabal being targeted for the latter role. Fans are a little concerned about the quality of the squad and Baroni’s capability in the dugout.

As reported by Alfredo Pedulla, Lazio have reached an agreement with Serie D club Virtus Francavilla for Artistico, who’ll undergo his medicals in the Italian capital shortly before putting pen to paper on his four-year contract.

The 21-year-old Italian striker will then head off to a Serie B club on loan to continue his development, with Spezia and Juve Stabia both interested in a move.
