In recent days, transfer pundit Matteo Moretto claimed that the Biancocelesti had inquired about the Icelandic striker, allegedly interested in competing with Inter and Napoli for the 27-year-old, who netted 16 goals and provided five assists across 37 matches in Liguria.
Lazio have already been hard at work in the summer transfer window, completing moves for Salernitana’s Loum Tchaouna and Hellas Verona’s Tijjani Noslin, and are still on the hunt for a new left-back and midfielder.
