Lazio Accept Besiktas Offer for Immobile – The Figures Revealed

Lazio captain Ciro Immobile is apparently on the cusp of joining Besiktas, as the two clubs have reportedly reached an agreement over a transfer.

The Istanbul-based club has already struck an accord with the 34-year-old striker over personal terms but has been working to get the green light from the Biancocelesti, who have the player tied to a contract until 2026. Lazio President Claudio Lotito refused to rescind the veteran’s contract, insisting on receiving a transfer fee.

But as Italian journalist Alfredo Pedullà tells it, the patron has dropped his asking price from €10 million to €5 million. This figure could decrease even further as Immobile could make a financial sacrifice to appease Lazio in an attempt to push the deal over the finish line.

Lazio Accept to Sell Immobile to Besiktas

For his part, transfer market guru Gianluca Di Marzio claims that the Italian capital side has already accepted an offer from Besiktas worth €3 million. He also adds that Immobile agreed to renounce his wages for June in a gesture that helped the two clubs reach an accord.

Therefore, the former Juventus, Torino and Dortmund bomber is on the verge of signing for the Turkish giants after eight unforgettable years at the Stadio Olimpico.
