Lazio’s Signings & Departures: The Effect on the 2024-25 Balance Sheet Thus Far

A report from Calcio e Finanza details how every transaction conducted by Lazio thus far this summer will impact the club from an economic perspective.

The Biancocelesti have been very active on the market since the start of July. And while we’re still expecting more operations to be concluded over the next month and a half – including Ciro Immobile’s transfer to Besiktas and the potential arrivals of Mason Greenwood and Nuno Tavares – Calcio e Finanza offers a deep analysis of the transfers that have already been announced.

Lazio’s 2024-25 Balance Sheet: Sales

The source begins with Luis Alberto’s sale to Al-Duhail. The Biancocelesti collected €10.5 million which can be deemed pure capital gains since the club has already settled the player’s amortization cost long ago. Moreover, Lazio saved €7.5 million in wages.

The Italian capital side also sold the young Raul Moro to Real Valladolid for €2.5 million. This operation generates a capital gain of just under €1.5 while saving another million in terms of amortization cost.

Lazio’s 2024-25 Balance Sheet: Purchases

The source then discusses Lazio’s new arrivals, beginning with Loum Tchaouna. The club splashed €9.76 million to acquire his services from Salernitana. The young Frenchman has signed a five-year contract, so between his amortization and salary, he will cost Lazio €3.8 million during the 2024-25 season.

Then we have Tijjani Noslin who made the transfer from Hellas Verona for €8.5 million. His arrival will weigh a total of €4.5 on the club’s accounts for the upcoming campaign.

Finally, Lazio signed Fisayo Dele-Bashiru on loan from Hatayspor for €2 million with an obligation to buy for another €3.7M. Between the loan fee and the player’s salary, the Nigerian’s cost for the 2024-25 campaign will be around €4.8 million.

  1. I’ll have to watch an explanation video on this topic coz I am not getting some of the information (plus it’s not “that” detailed maybe..) also I haven’t seen Liverpool mentioned, we owed a % from Luis’ sale and I though Noslin was closer to €18mil (or say 15nat least) yet it shows as €8.5mil which, shockingly is less than former Salentino man Tchaouna on €9.7mil.

I might need to re read the article lol but let me mention something that caught my eye the most: We can basically buy a player with what we saved on Magos wage 😍
