Lazio have opened talks with Sunderland to sound out a potential move for starlet forward Jobe Bellingham this summer, reports detail.
The Biancocelesti have been on the hunt for a boost in creativity following the recent departure of Luis Alberto and their primary target has been Manchester United exile Mason Greenwood, who won’t come cheap, leaving Claudio Lotito and Angelo Fabiani in a tough spot.
Lazio are on the lookout for viable alternatives to bolster Marco Baroni’s squad and have started considering moves for both Udinese’s Lazar Samardzic and Feyenoord’s Calvin Stengs.
As reported by Il Messaggero (via TMW), Lazio have also added Jobe Bellingham to this list and have contacted Sunderland to take information about a possible deal this summer.
The 18-year-old forward, who is the younger brother of Real Madrid star Jude, shined in his debut season with The Black Cats, scoring seven goals across 45 league matches. He has a market value of around €15 million and his contract lasts to June 2027, reports suggest.
