Lazio have reportedly revived the track that leads them to Sassuolo winger Armand Lauriente, who remains a transfer target for the capital club.
The Biancocelesti have already bolstered their flanks by snapping up Loum Tchaouna and Tijjani Noslin. However, the management could still be seeking one more addition to complete the department.
So according to Italian journalist Alfredo Pedullà, Lazio have made new contacts for Lauriente who would surely relish the opportunity to leave the Mapei Stadium following his club’s relegation to Serie B at the end of last season.
Lazio Revive Interest in Lauriente
As the source explains, the Biancocelesti haven’t yet launched an onslaught for the Frenchman, but they are showing strong interest in the player. Parma and Fenerbahce have also been linked with the 25-year-old but have yet to start concrete negotiations with Sassuolo who are asking for €15 million with bonuses to part ways with the player.
Lauriente is a left winger who rose through the ranks of Stade Rennais. He then had a spell with Lorient before joining the Neroverdi in the summer of 2022. The Frenchman enjoyed a positive first campaign in Italian football, but his team’s shocking drop in form last term took its toll on his displays. His contract with Sassuolo runs until June 2027.
