Lazio are in close contact with Sassuolo as they look to explore a deal for talented winger Armand Lauriente this summer.

The Biancocelesti have been hard at work in the summer transfer window, quickly reinforcing Marco Baroni’s squad, and a number of players have already arrived including Loum Tchaouna, Tijjani Noslin, Fisayo Dele-Bashiru and Nuno Tavares.

Lazio are also trying to finalize a deal for Gaetano Castrovilli, who is currently a free agent after his contract with Fiorentina expired this month, and they have shown no signs of slowing down yet.

As reported by Alfredo Pedulla, Lazio have contacted Sassuolo to start seriously discussing a possible deal for Lauriente, learning his circa €15 million price tag. Other clubs from Italy and around Europe are also interested in the 25-year-old.

Last season, the French winger scored five goals and provided six assists in 37 Serie A appearances, doing well despite the team’s dire form. His contract with the Neroverdi lasts until June 2027.
