Lazio are switching focus to the outgoing market and have identified nine players who could ultimately be sold this summer.

The Biancocelesti have already been fairly active in the opening month of the summer transfer window, pulling off deals for the likes of Loum Tchaouna, Tijjani Noslin, Fisayo Dele-Bashiru, Gaetano Castrovilli and Nuno Tavares, adding a number of fresh faces to Marco Baroni’s squad.

Lazio are still on the hunt for a few more targets, including a new forward or attacking midfielder, and they’ve been focusing their efforts on Sassuolo’s Armand Lauriente, who won’t come cheap.

Corriere dello Sport (via La Lazio Siamo Noi) highlights how President Claudio Lotito and Sporting Director Angelo Fabiani want to switch Lazio’s focus to sales for the time being, keen to start generating funds from the redundant players in the squad.

Gustav Isaksen, Danilo Cataldi, Matias Vecino and Elseid Hysaj could all leave in the coming weeks should the right offers arrive, whilst the club are actively keen to rehome Matteo Cancellieri, Jean-Daniel Akpa Akpro, Toma Basic, Mohamed Fares, and André Anderson.

  1. I’m hearing now James Rodriguez whom I do like, but this year under Baroni nobody really expect anything so, my idea is this: get CASADEI. Gamble on this unchiseled gem coz I think him, Tonali, Miretti & Rovella are the future of Italy. Steal him from Fiorentina and make him our star. I think if not now, we will never have the “opportune” season for this and Baroni seems to be an empathetic coach that could drive him towards his full potential.

Plus(a huge plus) all the fans will love that we bring in a young (maybe the most promising) Italian at the moment.

When we allowed Bournemouth to get Milos Kerkez I had the same feeling only with the difference he is 🇭🇺 not 🇮🇹. C’mon Fabiani convince Lotito!!!
