Lazio are now seeking an agreement with the agent of Boulaye Dia after reaching an accord with Salernitana over the player’s transfer. The Biancocelesti have recently revived their interest in the French-Senegalese striker and are now in a hurry to add him to Marco Baroni’s ranks before the start of the campaign.

According to Il Corriere dello Sport (via La Lazio Siamo Noi) the two clubs have an agreement in place over an initial loan move with an obligation to buy set at €10 million in addition to bonuses. Lazio have identified the 27-year-old as the right alternative for Taty Castellanos to lead the line, while the versatile Tijjani Noslin would move to the wing.

Lazio to Meet the Agent of Boulaye Dia

The Italian capital side must now find an agreement over personal terms with the player’s entourage. So according to Italian journalist Gianluca Di Marzio, the club has scheduled an imminent meeting with Dia’s agent. So it remains to be seen if the white smoke will soon emerge.

In the meantime, La Lazio Siamo Noi expects Dia to earn a salary worth circa €1.2 million per year if the deal were to go through. The former Villarreal striker joined Salernitana in 2022 and enjoyed a stellar first campaign in Serie A, but the club endured a torrid 2023/24 season which culminated in relegation to Serie B.
