16:00 EST – Lazio have signed Samuel Gigot from Marseille on loan with an obligation to buy set at €3 million if certain conditions are met.
15:30 EST – Fiorentina have signed Danilo Cataldi on loan with an option to buy set at €5 million from Lazio.
14:15 EST – The swap exchange between Lazio and Hellas Verona involving Toma Basic and Davide Faraoni is currently off as things stand.
14:15 EST – Lazio are in direct contact with Napoli for Michael Folorunsho; however, their first proposal was insufficient.
13:00 EST – Lazio and Hellas Verona are working on a possible loan exchange involving one of Toma Basic or Jean-Daniel Akpa Akpro and 32-year-old Italian right-back Davide Faraoni, who spent over 10 years with the Lazio Youth Teams.
12:45 EST – Nicolo Casale has officially signed for Bologna on loan from Lazio until 30 June 2025. The deal will become an obligation to buy upon reaching certain conditions.
9:30 EST – Lazio are in continuous contact with Wolfsburg for Aster Vranckx. A four-year contract is ready for the Belgian 21-year-old midfielder.
8:30 EST – Lazio are in advanced negotiations with Udinese to try and sign Sandi Lovric before the Transfer Window closes. Discussions between the clubs will continue to occur to try and find an agreement on the midfielder’s transfer fee.

Both clubs have offered Napoli a loan with an obligation to buy, but the Viola are offering more and will try to close the deal. However, the Biancocelesti are expected to make another offer and find an agreement with the Partenopei.
4:00 EST – Venezia are pushing to sign Jean-Daniel Akpa Akpro. The Ivorian midfielder expressed his desire to return to Monza, but in the last few hours, the Venetians have overtaken the Biancorossi, in addition to Hellas Verona and Empoli.

Samuel Gigot Arrives in Italy
Samuel Gigot is set to become a new Lazio player. The Marseille defender arrived at the Fiumicino Airport at 21:00 EST on August 29. All that is missing is the official announcement from the club following his medicals. He will sign a contract until 2026 with an option to renew for another year until 2027. The Biancocelesti will pay the Ligue 1 side €3 million.
Nicolò Casale Set to Join Bologna
Nicolò Casale has arrived at Isokinetik to undergo medicals ahead of a transfer to Bologna. He will join on a €1.5 million loan with an option to buy set at €6.5 million; the option to buy will become a loan with an obligation to buy if the Rossoblu qualify for any of the three European competitions.
Michael Folorunsho Targeted By Fiorentina
Fiorentina has once again made contact with Napoli regarding the possibility of signing Michael Folorunsho. For now, the player’s priority remains Lazio. However, if the Biancocelesti are unable to find an agreement with the Partenopei, they will fail to sign the former Primavera midfielder and he could join the Viola.
