Lazio would consider selling Luca Pellegrini to Galatasaray if the right offer were to arrive in the next few days.
The Turkish clubs remain very active on the market, as the transfer session in the country will last until September 13th. And while Fenerbahce managed to secure the signing of Filip Kostic on loan from Juventus, their blood rivals Galatasaray are looking to respond by acquiring another left wing-back from Serie A.
Lazio Seeking €4M to Sell Pellegrini to Galatasaray
TuttoMercatoWeb were the first to report the club’s interest in Pellegrini. And now, Italian journalist Giulio Cardone (via LazioNews24) weighs in on the story, insisting that the deal could materialize if Galatasaray manage to meet Lazio’s asking price of €4 million.
The 25-year-old has been a member of the Biancocelesti’s squad since January 2023 but has yet to cement himself as a regular starter. And following the arrival of Nuno Tavares, Pellegrini would likely serve as a second fiddle to the Portuguese who delivered a stellar display against Milan.
So in case Pellegrini ends up sealing a move to Istanbul, Lazio would simply reinstate their versatile full-back Elseid Hysaj who has been left out of the Serie A squad list. However, it would be too late to add the Albanian to the Europa League group stage list.
On another note, Sky Sport Italia (via LazioNews24) claims Pellegrini isn’t the only left-back on Galatasaray’s list, as the Turkish giants are also monitoring Roma’s Nicola Zalewski.
