Fiorentina Form Guide: Recent Results & Table Position

After six competitive matches under the guidance of their new manager Raffaele Palladino, Fiorentina remain winless this season. Although they managed to qualify for the UEFA Conference League, they did so on the back of two draws and a penalty shootout against Puskas Akademia.

In the league, the Viola settled for a trio of draws in their first three Serie A fixtures against Parma, Venezia and Monza, much to the dismay of their supporters who would expected their team to prevail against at least a couple of these modest sides. In their most recent outing, they succumbed at the hands of Atalanta in a back-and-forth contest that ended 3-2, leaving them 14th in the table.

Lazio Form Guide: Recent Results & Table Position

While it hasn’t been exactly a perfect start by any means, Lazio have positioned themselves sixth in the standings with seven points, only three behind Udinese who are surprisingly leading the table after four rounds. The Zebrette remain the only team to beat Marco Baroni’s band this season.

The Biancocelesti are coming off a win over Hellas Verona and will be looking to build on it. Hence, Baroni could unleash his strongest lineup in Florence, even though the Europa League opener against Dynamo Kyiv is only a few days away. With the exception of main striker Taty Castellanos, the coach should have a full squad to choose from.
