Lazio president Claudio Lotito is confident with the squad he assembled during the summer, and has a cheeky message to the naysayers.

The Biancocelesti had an eventful transfer campaign. After parting ways with senators like Ciro Immobile, Luis Alberto, Felipe Anderson and Danilo Cataldi, they brought in young profiles in the shape of Nuno Tavares, Boulaye Dia, Tijjani Noslin and Fisayo Dele-Bisahru among others, and gave the reins to Marco Baroni after splitting paths with Igor Tudor.

The new manager had a relatively slow start to life at the Stadio Olimpico, with the team dropping points in the first weeks of the season. Nevertheless, the Aquile have been on the rise, winning their last four contests between the Serie A and the Europa League, while putting on impressive displays.

Lotito Satisfied with Lazio Squad

So in his chat with ANSA (via Calciomercato), Lotito insists he and his collaborators have built a team with a strong character while aiming a dig at those who continue to question his work.

We have built a detrmined team. Remember one thing: the ball is for everyone whereas football is only for a few.

The source also notes that the club patron refused to reveal what Lazio’s true objective is for this season.
