Lazio new signing Nuno Tavares lands on the podium of the best dribblers in Europe’s Top Five Leagues thus far this season. This is according to a study published by CIES Football Observatory (via Il Corriere dello Sport).
The 24-year-old completed a loan move with an obligation to buy from Arsenal this past summer and he has been one of the best revelations of the Serie A campaign. He has thus far contributed with five assists in as many league appearances.

Moreover, the Portuguese left-back has been a menacing force on the flank, establishing himself as one of Europe’s most efficient dribbles. Hence, CIES identified Tavares as the third-best dribbler in the Top 5 European Leagues in the early stages of the season.
West Ham United’s Mohammed Kudus is the ultimate king of this category, while Everton striker Ilman Ndiaye finished second on the list.

Napoli winger Khvicha Kvaratskhelia landed just outside the podium, followed by Real Madrid superstar Vinicius Jr, Barcelona wonderkid Lamine Yamal, Bayer Leverkusen star Florian Wirtz, and former Lazio youngster Raul Moro (who currently plays for Real Valladolid).
For his part, Lazio captain Mattia Zaccagni is the first Italian name on the list, finishing in 25th place, just ahead of his compatriot Giuseppe Pezzella who plays for Empoli.
