Experienced Lazio duo Pedro and Alessio Romagnoli earned the highest players ratings in the aftermath of the club’s dramatic 2-1 victory over Porto on the fourth matchday of the Europa League group stage.
Lazio Stars Pedro & Alessio Romagnoli Shine vs Porto
The Spanish forward instigated the opener with an exquisite corner kick which was redirected by Taty Castellanos and then headed home by Romagnoli. The Portuguese managed to equalize in the second period, but just couldn’t cling to the draw until the final whistle, as Gustav Isaksen’s cross evaded everyone before falling in Pedro’s path. The veteran made no mistakes from close range.
The former Barcelona and Chelsea star was thus picked as the Man of the Match by some of the most renowned Italian newspapers, with a rating between 7.5 and 8/10. His fellow goalscorer Romagnoli shared the MOTM honors on one account.
Loum Tchaouna Gets Lowest Grade
On the other hand, no Lazio player has received a grade below 6/10, except for Loum Tchaouna on a single account (5/10). The young winger lost track of Galeno in the leadup to Porto’s equalizer.
