Lazio Team News, Injuries, Suspensions & Probable Lineup
The only two absentees for Marco Baroni are Nuno Tavares who sustained a low-grade muscle injury on international duty and Gaetano Castrovilli who’s recovering from a minor surgery. The Lazio manager will likely maintain the 4-3-3 formation adopted against Monza, with Taty Castellanos leading the line. Boulaye Dia has recovered from malaria, but the Argentine remains the favorite to start.
Gustav Isaksen and Mattia Zaccagni should start on the wings, while Pedro will be on the bench after enduring a bout with Gastroenteritis during the week. Matias Vecino should join Nicolo Rovella and Matteo Guendouzi in midfield. Manuel Lazzari will most likely get the nod at Adam Marusic’s expense, while Mario Gila, Alessio Romagnoli and Luca Pellegrini complete the backline.
Lazio (4-3-3): Provedel; Lazzari, Gila, Romagnoli, Pellegrini; Guendouzi, Rovella, Vecino; Isaksen, Castellanos, Zaccagni.
Bologna Team News, Injuries, Suspensions & Probable Lineup
Vincenzo Italiano will have to do without Lukasz Skorupski who misses the encounter due to fever, so Federico Ravaglia will play in goal. The Rossoblu will also be without Nicolo Cambiaghi, Dan Ndoye, Michel Aebischer and Oussama El Azzouzi. The vastly experienced Lorenzo De Silvestri should start at the back alongside Miranda, Sam Beukema and Nicolo Casale who will get his chance to prove his worth against his parent club.
In the middle of the park, Remo Freuler should combine with Tommaso Pobega, while Riccardo Orsolini, Jens Odgaard and Jesper Karlsson form the supporting crew of Santiago Castro who will spearhead Bologna’s charge, even though Thijs Dallinga remains a viable alternative.
Bologna (4-2-3-1): Ravaglia; De Silvestri, Beukema, Casale, Miranda; Freuler, Pobega; Orsolini, Odgaard, Karlsson; Dallinga.
