As the source explains, the hierarchy has set the plan in motion, as the talks between the two parties could kickstart around Christmas, while a decisive meeting could ensue at the beginning of the year.
Deadline & Salary
Baroni’s current deal is valid until June 2026, but the club aims to push back the deadline until 2027 with an option to 2028. The alternative option would be extending the contract directly to June 2028. Moreover, the coach’s current salary is circa €1 million plus bonuses. The report expects this figure to be doubled once he inks a new contract.
