This unprofessional attitude irked the head coach and even prompted the intervention of the club’s sporting director Angelo Fabiani who went down from the stands to ‘scold’ the Frenchman.

The newspaper now expects a positive reaction from the player in the coming days, otherwise, the club could decide to take action on the market and bring in a new centre-back as a replacement. Transfer from Marseille
Gigot completed a deadline-day transfer to Lazio last summer after being omitted from Roberto De Zerbi’s plans at Olympique Marseille. He arrived as a replacement for Nicolo Casale who signed for Bologna on the same day. The Avignon native joined the Italian capital side on loan with an obligation to buy at the end of the season.
