Lazio have reportedly name their price for Gustav Isaksen whose playing time could decrease following the arrival of Arijon Ibrahimovic.

Gustav Isaksen Facing Uncertain Lazio Future

The Italian capital side announced the capture of the 19-year-old German who joins from Bayern Munich on loan with an option to buy. The teenager is a versatile player capable of filling several roles, but according to Il Tempo (via La Lazio Siamo Noi), Ibrahimovic could initially act as an understudy for club captain Mattia Zaccagni on the left wing.

Reshuffle on the Wings

In this case, Pedro could be moved to the right flank to make room for the newcomer, which could entail some undesired consequences for Isasken who has been Marco Baroni’s first choice for the right-wing role. Hence, the source believes the Biancocelesti could decide to cash in on the Dane, thus opting for Pedro and Loum Tchouna as the main options on the right side.

The Asking Price

The source claims that Aquile would be willing to part ways with the 23-year-old for an offer worth €20 million. This figure would allow them to balance the books and raise funds for other January signings. In recent days, Celtic have reportedly rekindled their interest in the winger, while Bologna are also said to be monitoring the situation alongside Premier League clubs.

  1. Swap deal for isaksen and carter vickers… we need defense, obviously one of the clubs will need to add.

  2. There’s no such thing as a surplus of requirements for a limited squad like Lazio’s. We’re always one injury away from from disaster.

  3. I do think Isaksen has rooms to improve and much to offer, I don’t see him as a surplus.

While Ibra will either be a failure or a success, he would return to Bayern (simply end of the loan or being purchased back). I don’t think Lazio can equip him for a long time and he should be aiming at larger clubs than Lazio when he grows.

  4. If these columns teach you anything about who Celtic are looking to sign, it’s that the media doesn’t have a clue! They are so much in the dark! They pull names out of a hat, guess all day long, throw darts at a board, whatever. They know one or two of them will get a bullseye eventually. But the majority of them are just shooting in the dark!
    Celtic play it brilliantly.
