Lazio refuse to give up on their attempts to lure Cesare Casadei, so they have reportedly formulated a new offer that could satisfy Chelsea’s demands.

The Background

The Blues are requesting €15 million to part ways with the 22-year-old who has recently emerged as the Biancocelesti’s priority target. Lazio offered to split this figure between €13 million as a fixed fee and €2 million in add-ons.

Key Condition

While the Premier League giants accepted this particular detail, they refused to let the player leave on loan with an option to buy, insisting on a permanent transfer. Therefore, some sources believed that Torino took the lead since they’re willing to meet this key condition, albeit with lower figures.

Lazio Ready to Sign Cesare Casadei Permanently

Nevertheless, Fabrizio Romano reveals that Lazio have decided to up their game by offering to buy Casadei permanently for €13 million in addition to bonuses and a sell-on fee. The famous journalist also claims that Torino, Feyenoord and a Premier League club are also in the race, and expects the final decision to be made this week.

Moreover, Italian journalist Alfredo Pedulla also reports similar details, revealing that Lazio will be looking to close the deal in the next 48 hours.

Lazio Interested in Another Chelsea Player

Pedulla also claims that the Biancocelesti enquired about Casadei’s Chelsea teammate Renato Veiga who could be available on loan, with Juventus emerging as one of his suitors.
