Lazio stalwart Elseid Hysaj is an interesting addition to the Top 10 list of the highest-paid full-backs in Serie A.
Federico Dimarco, Denzel Dumfries & Theo Hernandez Lead the Charts
Transfermarkt.it revealed the Top 13 list, and it’s unsurprisingly dominated by the two Milanese giants. Inter Milan’s flying wingbacks Federico Dimaco and Denzel Dumfries are on top with a yearly net salary of €4 million. The Dutchman has recently signed a contract extension, thus dispelling concerns over a free transfer in the summer.

Dumfries’ mortal enemy Theo Hernandez also shares the top spot with the Nerazzurri duo as he’s on the same base salary, albeit the two Inter stars have a slight advantage thanks to various bonus clauses. Napoli captain Giovanni Di Lorenzo is fourth with a €3 million yearly wage, and the same goes for forgotten Milan veteran Alessandro Florenzi.
Elseid Hysaj is the Sixth Highest Earning Full-Back in Serie A
Despite spending the first half of the season on the sidelines after being omitted from the Serie A and Europa League squad lists, Hysaj is in fact the only Lazio player to break into the Top 10. He lands in 6th place with a salary of €2.8, just ahead of Milan duo Kyle Walker and Emerson Royal, Inter veteran Matteo Darmian and Venezia’s Ridgeciano Haps who are all on €2.5 wages.
Outside The Top 10
Juventus star Andrea Cambiaso falls just outside of the Top 10 with a salary of €2.4 million, while Lazio’s Adam Marusic shares the 12th spot with Inter’s Carlos Augusto, as both players collect €2.2 million per year.
Interestingly, Lazio’s first-choice full-backs Nuno Tavares and Manuel Lazzari are nowhere to be seen on the list while their backups have managed to negotiate themselves better terms.
