Lazio Striker Could Be Sold Amidst Declining Displays – Asking Price Revealed

Lazio are reportedly willing to consider offers for Boulaye Dia who started his campaign on a high note before suffering a decline.

The Biancocelesti splashed €11 million to buy the 28-year-old from Salernitana last summer. The Senegalese enjoyed a solid start to life in the Italian capital, forming a proficient striking partnership with Taty Castellanos while acting as an attacking midfielder in Marco Baroni’s 4-2-3-1 formation.

Boulaye Dia Suffering Decline

However, the forward has failed to impress as of late, especially when asked to lead the line in the absence of his injured Argentinian teammate. The club’s attack simply hasn’t been the same without Castellanos, as Dia, Tijjani Noslin and Loum Tchaouna have all struggled to fill the void left by the club’s top goalscorer.

So according to La Lazio Siamo Noi, Dia’s place at the club is no longer secured, especially amidst his current skid. The former Villarreal man will turn 29 in November, so the club directors believe next summer represents their best opportunity to register a profit from his sale. Claudio Lotito and Angelo Fabiani are reportedly hoping to receive a transfer fee in the region of €15 million.

The Agreement with Salernitana

The versatile striker joined Lazio on a two-year loan deal from Salerntiana, but they have an obligation to buy him by June 2026. Hence, the Biancocelesti would be able to bring the player’s purchase forward before selling him in the summer in case they were to receive a tempting proposal.

Dia has thus far contributed with nine goals and three assists in all competitions this season.
