Lazio winger Loum Tchaouna will imminently sign for Burnley following an agreement between all parties involved.
The Background
The newly promoted Premier League boys are keen to bolster their ranks this summer to avoid suffering the same fate as Leicester, Ipswich Town and Southampton who suffered an immediate relegation to the Championship after failing to cope with the quality of their foes in England’s top flight.

The Clarets have set their sights Tchaouna who is coming off a disappointing first season in the Italian capital, which will seemingly be his last. Scott Parker and his staff believe they can help the young winger recapture the magic of his impressive spell at Salernitana. On Tuesday evening, it was reported that the two clubs have found an agreement on the formula and the transfer fee.
How Much Will Loum Tchaouna Cost Burnley
On Wednesday, Calciomercato journalist Daniele Longo described the operation as a ‘done deal’, suggesting that the transfer is now imminent. Hence, the Frenchman will join Burnley on a transfer worth €14 million in addition to €3 million in bonuses. Moreover, the contract will include a sell-on fee in favour of Lazio, varying between 10% and 20%, in the event of a future transfer.
Lazio Set to Register Windfall
This deal will constitute a significant capital gain for the Biancocelesti who paid around €8.5 million to buy Tchaouna from Salernitana less than 12 months ago. The winger failed to cement himself as a regular starter under Marco Baroni, and only contributed with two goals and one assist in all competitions.
That deal is a steal for Lazio, considering how bad he was last season. Now please get rid of Basic, Noslin and hopefully Hysaj.
Hopefully we can bring in a couple of quality players.
Good riddance!!!
Arrivederci.
