Lazio have announced that Romano Floriani Mussolini has signed for Cremonese on loan with an option to buy at the end of the season.

The 22-year-old is a Biancocelesti youth product who spent the last two campaigns on loan at Pescara and Juve Stabia, respectively. Last season, he managed to impress in Serie B, so Juve Stabia exercised their option to buy him, only for Lazio to utilize their counter option and buy back the player.

However, it was Cremonese who reached the finish line first. On Monday, Lazio announced, via a statement published on the club’s official website, that the newly-promoted Serie A club has acquired the services of the player on loan with an option to buy.

The Figures & Clauses
Previous sources revealed that the Tigres will have to pay €5 million to sign the player on a permanent basis. It remains to be seen if Lazio added a buy-back clause, similar to the arrangement they had with Juve Stabia last season.
