Lazio youngster Reda Belahyane has picked up an injury, which 16:will force him to skip this weekend’s friendly encounter against Burnley.

The Biancocelesti have been training at Formello this week after returning from their Istanbul tour, which saw them take on Fenerbahce and Galatasaray in back-to-back friendlies. However, Belayhane will be left behind after suffering a muscle injury. While the club has yet to offer an official update on his condition, Il Corriere dello Sport (via La Lazio Siamo Noi) expects him to be out of action for at least 10 days.

Belahyane Braced for New Role
The 21-year-old joined Lazio in January, but he hasn’t been able to cement himself as a regular starter, as Marco Baroni considered him an understudy for Nicolo Rovella. This summer, Danilo Cataldi has returned to the club, offering Maurizio Sarri another option for the Regista role. Therefore, the manager has been testing Belahyane in the box-to-box role.
