Lazio will play their fifth friendly of the summer on English soil, as they take on newly-promoted Premier League side, Burnley.

The contest will take place at Turf Moor on Saturday, 16:00 CET

Burnley Team News, Injuries, Suspensions & Probable Lineup

Burnley boss Scott Parker will have to do without the injured Bashir Humphreys, Conor Roberts, Zeki Amdouni and Zian Flemming. The Clarets are expected to adopt a 4-2-3-1 formation spearheaded by Marcus Edwards, with Jacob Bruun Larsen, Hannibal Mejbri and Jaidon Antony as his support crew.

In the middle of the park, Josh Cullen should link up with Josh Laurent, while Kyle Walker could start at the back, alongside Maxime Esteve, Hjalmar Ekdal and Quilindschy Hartman, with Max Weiss in goal. Former Lazio winger Loum Tchaouna will likely start from the bench.

Lazio Team News, Injuries & Probable Lineup

Maurizio Sarri travelled with his main host to England, but five Lazio players remained behind due to various injuries and physical problems. These are Gustav Isaksen, Patric, Samuel Gigot, Reda Belahyane and Matias Vecino.

Ivan Provedel is expected to get the nod this time, while the backline should remain almost intact, with Adam Marusic, Mario Gila, Oliver Provstgaard and Nuno Tavares all starting. Nicolo Rovella should play in between Matteo Guendouzi and Fisayo Dele-Bashiru in midfield, while Boulaye Dia is tipped to lead the line, flanked by Matteo Cancellieri and Mattia Zaccagni.

  1. Does anyone know how many tickets we have sold for the away end? I read on a Burnley website as little as 250 – which would be massively disappointing. 🇬🇧🦅
